Notes

This release of Apryse for Xamarin brings the core PDF functionality and iOS and Android Tools functionality inline with version 6.10.0 of the iOS and Android SDKs. More information can be found on What's New for iOS and What's New for Android.

Xamarin.Android

  • Fixes manual cropping dialog UI to match material design guideline
  • Fixes annotation style editor's text preview did not draw properly on Pie
  • Fixes reflow control got cutoff on Pie devices with notch
  • Fixes issue where too many annotation comment indicators showed up on some files
  • Fixes unexpected jumping when undo/redo page rotation in thumbnail browser
  • Fixes redaction did not work properly on rotated pages
  • Fixes search would crash if TextHighlighter tool was disabled

Xamarin.iOS

New features

  • The PTDocumentViewController document opening API has been expanded to support more file formats. It is now possible to open PDF, Microsoft Office, iWork (Pages, Keynote, Numbers), image, markdown, and other file formats in the document viewer. The files can be located locally or remotely and are downloaded by the viewer as necessary. For more information on the supported file formats, please see the document conversion guide.
  • Improved annotation author API, now accessible on the PTToolManager class.
